Hello,

I finally found an archive of this list, and noticed that recently there
was a bit of a "roadmap" discussion.

One thing that I'd love to see now that 7.2 will be officially getting
support for this is the ability to bind multiple IPs to a jail. I
currently don't see any way to do that with the ezjail scripts.

ezjail-admin create myjail.blub.com 10.1.1.1,10.1.1.2,10.1.1.3

No spaces allowed between comma and IP-addresses!

It does indeed seem to work:

bge0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500
        inet x.x.144.69 netmask 0xffffffff broadcast x.x.144.69
lo0: flags=8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 16384
        inet 10.1.1.1 netmask 0xffffffff
        inet 10.1.1.2 netmask 0xffffffff
        inet 10.1.1.3 netmask 0xffffffff
        inet 10.1.1.4 netmask 0xffffffff

Some of the validation code chokes on this though:

ping: cannot resolve x.x.144.69,10.1.1.1,10.1.1.2,10.1.1.3,10.1.1.4: Unknown host Warning: IP x.x.144.69,10.1.1.1,10.1.1.2,10.1.1.3,10.1.1.4 not configured on a local interface.

No big deal I assume as long as it actually writes out the config and works.

Charles
